Thinking about majoring in industrial engineering?  It's a good choice - and K-State is a great place to get your IE degree!

Our graduates are highly recruited by industry, paid well and have tremendous career opportunities.  According to Bureau of Labor Statistics industrial engineers are expected to have employment growth of 14% over the next decade - faster than the average for all occupations.  The average annual starting salary for our May 2011 graduates was nearly $60,000.  Some companies that have recruited our graduates recently include Blue Cross Blue Shield, Burlington Northern-Santa Fe Railway, Cerner, Deloitte Consulting, Exxon Mobil, General Mills, Goodyear, Halliburton, Hormel Food, Honeywell, Hospira, J.B. Hunt Transport, J.C. Penney, Lockheed Martin, Procter & Gamble, Raytheon, and Sprint.
