Student Video Wins National Competition
K-State’s Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE) chapter has been awarded first place and a $1,000 grant for its student-produced video submission “Choose My Major.”
Aimed at recruiting high school students, the video provides an overview of industrial engineering, highlights industries where IEs work, and the types of work industrial engineers do every day. K-State’s submission competed against IIE chapters across the nation and will be honored at the IIE Annual Conference, May 18-22, in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
