IMSE Faculty and Staff

"The Industrial Engineering department at K-State has given me countless opportunities to thrive as both a student and as a professional. I know that I am ready to transition from my role as a student thanks to the outstanding faculty, and value of the coursework and team projects in the curriculum. The smaller department allowed me to be on a first-name basis with all faculty members, and to become friends with my peers, who will remain in my network as colleagues."

Kathryn Davis, 2010 K-State Alumni

Our faculty and staff are what truly makes K-State's Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering department special. We expect a lot from our students, but also take the time to get to know them and encourage their academic and personal growth.

In addition to teaching, our faculty members are actively engaged in research and are recognized internationally for their work in top journals and acclaimed books. Collectively, we have served as board members, advisers and editors for over 46 academic journals.

Our department is on the cutting edge of major engineering discoveries. In collaboration with our graduate students and experts in our field we continually strive to solve some of the world's most complex problems.
